LIMITED USE STATEMENT
Jobaffinity’s uses and transfers of information received from Google APIs to any other application adhere to the Google API data usage policies, including the requirements for limited use data.
IDENTITY
When the “Connect with Google” feature is used, Jobaffinity retrieves the user’s email address. Jobaffinity uses this e-mail address for authentication purposes only. No information is stored by Jobaffinity.
E-MAILS
The user can activate the synchronization of his Google emails.
The activation of this feature is done by the user himself via his profile page. He can activate and deactivate the functionality at any time.
When Google emails are synchronized,
- Jobaffinity uses the user’s Google account only to send emails written by user in Jobaffinity. This feature was developed to improve message reception and reduce rejection as SPAM.
- Jobaffinity also collects e-mails from threads initiated in Jobaffinity. Only the responses corresponding to the e-mails sent will be recovered by Jobaffinity. These emails and replies will be visible to the jobteam users and admins. This functionality has been developed to allow an efficient and contextualized follow-up by the user, and to allow collaborative work.
CALENDAR
The user can activate the synchronization of his Google calendars.
The activation of this feature is done by the user himself via his profile page. He can activate and deactivate the functionality at any time.
Events created in the Jobaffinity calendar are automatically copied to the user’s google calendar.
Events created in the user’s google calendar are displayed in the user’s Jobaffinity calendar. These events are only visible to the user and are not stored in Jobaffinity.
LOG FILES AND COOKIES
We collect certain information through log files. This is mainly the following information:
- IP adress
- Geographical position
- OS
- Visited pages and queries
- Time and day of connection
The use of such files allows:
- service improvement
- securing the service
- personalized customer support
- statistics for Jobaffinity’s own needs
COOKIES
The use of Jobaffinity requires the acceptance of cookies for the proper functioning of the tool.
This cookie is used by Jobaffinity’s servers to identify the user behind the requests made to the service. This cookie is not used for any other purpose.
